Hello Everybody!

My First Post!!!

Hello everybody, or all 4 people who may read this post.  I've been wanting to start a nail art blog for a while and after so many comments on my nails I finally decided to do it.  This basically gives a purpose to my nail polish/art addiction and gives me more reason to paint my nails.  I have been painting my nails obsessively since at least high school where I would paint them each night, then go right to sleep only to mess them up and paint them in the morning.  In college my desk wasn't filled with pens and post-its, I had a nail polish drawer that everybody came to borrow from.  Now I find ANY excuse to paint nails... holidays, seasons, sporting events, running races...and have become a lot better at it since high school.  I love nail polish so much my cat gets obsessed and digs through it. 

She just likes the nail files.

To prove I slightly know what I'm doing I decided to dedicate this first post to my past nail designs.  I want to say a few things first about what I do and what I've learned over the years.  I never wear fake nails, all natural, but I do suggest getting a manicure every month or so; I can never shape my own nails as good as when other people do it.  Also, a good top coat will change your life!  No more 5 below for anyone, my favorites are Fast Forward by China Glaze and Good to Go by Essie.  I am an amateur as I'm sure you will be able to tell by my designs compared to the professionals, but I love to paint and the good thing about nail polish is you can easily take it off or fix it!  Check back soon for my first nail design how to...
